At Iron Tribe Fitness, we know that your road to a successful fitness program is highly affected by your nutrition. You will hear our fitness coaches mention time and time again that one cannot outwork a bad diet. If you have dieted before and have had lack of success, there was a reason. We will show you why your previous nutrition was unsuccessful and not optimal. We will lead you down the exact path of eating for your best functional performance, best physical aesthetics, and absolute best overall health possible.
During “CrossFit 101″ you will learn much about food. The curriculum unveils how you should eat and why. What are macronutrients? Why aren’t fats bad for me? How much carbohydrate can I eat? How do these foods affect my waistline? How do they affect my health? These questions and many more will be exposed and answered. Our members are the most physically and mentally fit they have ever been. Our community looks the best they have ever looked. Our tribe excels in sport and in the physical demands of life. Will you become a part of the tribe?
To ensure success in a fitness program, ITF coaches will discuss in detail about;
Carbohydrates: How all carbohydrates are NOT created equal. Which carbohydrates are the friendly ones and which are the culprit to a shocking amount of health problems. We will compare and contrast the differences between a sound diet and the detrimental-typical American diet. You will have an understanding of how these foods can either support or hinder a hormonal environment that will either ‘make or break’ your fitness endeavors.
Proteins: How they stabilize hormonal imbalances and are a key component in muscle retention, fat loss and strength building. We find that people often display knowledge in protein’s value but rarely realize the amount needed and the variances in the quality of protein sources.
Fats: How it has become the most misunderstood macronutrient and its vital role in your nutrition program. Our tribe members learn how to increase their fat intake while decreasing their body fat. Identify how to use fat as a fuel source throughout workouts and not a storage component due to hormonal imbalances. Which are the best fat sources and how much will I need to eat? This too will be covered on your way to optimal fitness.
We invite you to begin your “CrossFit 101″. We invite you to BE ABLE.
