Iron Tribe group training memberships typically average in the low $200s per month, with prices coming out to as little as $18 per class depending on commitment length.
Semi-private personal training starts in the high $400s per month or roughly $40 per coached session.
All workouts are 45 minutes, coach-led, and capped for a personalized training experience.
Compared to traditional one-on-one personal training in the area ($60–$100+ per session), Iron Tribe’s semi-private format provides customized programming and hands-on coaching in groups of 3–5 clients, offering significantly higher value per dollar.
Your first POWER session is a coach-led group class of about 10–16 people following the same daily workout. You’ll start with a guided warmup tailored to the movements for the day. The coach will demonstrate each exercise, check technique, and provide scaling options so the workout fits your experience level.
Before the workout begins, your coach will give you time to practice the movements, make any necessary modifications, and confirm that your equipment setup is safe. After reviewing the workout, the class begins together, with each person working at their own pace under close coaching. The session ends with a structured cooldown to reduce soreness, improve flexibility, and help your body return to baseline.
Before your first Prime session, your coach builds a personal workout plan based on your goals, needs, and movement assessment. You’ll begin with a warmup and then move into an individually programmed workout tailored to your current fitness level. Your coach provides hands-on guidance, corrects technique, and adjusts the plan as needed to keep the session safe and effective. Throughout the session, your coach answers questions, gives specific cues, and helps set up the equipment you need for each part of your workout.
A gym is only considered a CrossFit gym if it becomes an official CrossFit affiliate, which requires certification, an approved application, and an annual fee. Non-affiliated gyms cannot use the CrossFit name, even if their workouts look similar.
Iron Tribe is not a CrossFit affiliate. It briefly operated as one from 2010–2012 but moved away to create its own training philosophy and a consistent experience across locations. While Iron Tribe uses functional training similar to what some CrossFit gyms use, its programming is written by a dedicated team with an emphasis on safety, scalability, and long-term health.
Iron Tribe’s classes are coach-led, structured, and designed for adults of all fitness levels—including those over 40. The focus is on safe progress, personalized guidance, and a supportive environment rather than high-intensity competition.
Yes. Iron Tribe offers personal training through PRIME, our semi-private training program. PRIME provides individualized workout programming, 1-on-1 coaching attention, and goal tracking, similar to traditional private training. Each session includes up to 5 clients per coach, allowing for personalized guidance while still offering the motivation and community of a small group setting.
In the first 30 days, most people notice improved energy, better consistency, and increased strength and endurance. Daily tasks often feel easier, and many members report better sleep, mood, and motivation as regular exercise becomes part of their routine.
By 60 days, physical changes usually become more noticeable. Many people experience improved muscle tone, reduced body fat, better conditioning, and greater confidence in movement. Exercise habits feel more automatic, and stamina during workouts and everyday activities continues to rise.
At 90 days, progress is often visible to others. Members typically see meaningful changes in strength, endurance, body composition, and overall fitness. Exercise feels like a well-established habit, and many people report higher confidence, lower stress, and improved overall well-being. Individual results vary, but three months of consistent training usually creates clear momentum and measurable progress.

Progress can be tracked in several ways. In POWER group sessions, your workout results are logged after each class so you can review your history and see improvements over time. We also program regular benchmark workouts and a quarterly multi-dimensional test to measure strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
For members in PRIME semi-private training, your coach maintains detailed records of your workouts and adjusts your plan based on your progress. You’ll also have access to the InBody body composition scanner, which many members use monthly to track changes in muscle mass, body fat, and other key metrics. Some clients also choose to share nutrition data from apps like MyFitnessPal or food journals to support goal tracking.
Iron Tribe’s group membership, called POWER, includes access to 45 minute coach-led group classes with up to 20 participants. Each day features a structured workout designed to be safe, effective, and scalable for all fitness levels. POWER members also receive access to InBody body composition scanning, basic nutrition support, and accountability from the coaching team. PRIME members receive regular InBody body composition scans, detailed nutrition support, and a high level of accountability as coaches adjust programming based on ongoing progress. Members also use the Iron Tribe app to schedule sessions, and supplements are available for purchase.
Whether Iron Tribe is worth the cost depends on the type of training experience you’re looking for. Iron Tribe offers coach-led group classes and semi-private personal training, both of which include structured programming, individualized scaling, and consistent guidance from full-time coaches. Membership also includes tools like InBody body composition scans, nutrition support, progress tracking, and access to the Iron Tribe app.
Many members value the smaller class sizes, regular coaching attention, and strong sense of community, especially compared to large-group or self-guided gym models. The best way to determine value is to visit a location, meet the staff, and see whether the coaching style and environment align with your goals.
Yes. Iron Tribe memberships are billed on a 4-week recurring cycle. Some members choose to pay upfront for their full membership term and may receive a discount for doing so. Your local Iron Tribe manager can explain the available billing options and help you choose the one that fits your needs.
POWER is Iron Tribe’s group training program. It features daily workouts written by the programming team and coached in classes of up to 16 people. Workouts are structured, scalable, and led by a full-time coach who ensures proper technique and safety for the entire group.
PRIME is Iron Tribe’s semi-private personal training program. Each session includes up to 5 people and follows an individually designed program created for your goals, abilities, and progress. A coach works closely with you throughout the session, providing detailed guidance and tailored adjustments.
Both programs emphasize safe, effective training and long-term health, but POWER focuses on group-based workouts while PRIME provides a higher level of individualization and coaching attention regardless of your goals.
Yes. Iron Tribe workouts are designed to be accessible for beginners. Every movement and workout can be scaled to your current fitness level, and coaches focus on meeting you where you are rather than pushing you into intensity you’re not ready for. Proper form and safe movement are prioritized over competition or speed. Coaches closely monitor each class and make real-time adjustments so you can complete the workout safely and effectively. This approach applies to both POWER group classes and PRIME semi-private sessions.
Yes. Iron Tribe workouts can be adapted for people with injuries or physical limitations. Coaches are trained to modify movements, adjust intensity, and provide alternatives so you can participate safely. The programming emphasizes long-term health and avoids positions or exercises that could worsen existing issues. Many members work with a wide range of abilities, and coaches can coordinate with healthcare professionals—such as physical therapists or chiropractors—when needed to support your progress.
Yes. Iron Tribe memberships can be paused on a case-by-case basis according to the guidelines in your membership agreement. Pausing a membership does not cancel or remove any remaining commitment on the package you signed. Members who need time away from the gym can also use remote or travel workouts, which may be an alternative to pausing depending on the situation.
Iron Tribe does not charge a cancellation fee. However, members are asked to book their sessions in advance and cancel early if they cannot attend. This helps open the spot for another member and ensures classes run smoothly. Each location may have specific guidelines for when a cancellation should be made, so check with your local manager for details.
Membership cancellations require a 30-day in-person notice. If a scheduled billing period occurs during that 30-day window, the payment for that period must still be made. An early cancellation fee of 15% of the remaining total due also applies. Members may continue using their membership for the full 30 days after submitting notice.
After you join Iron Tribe, you’ll receive access to the Iron Tribe app, which you use to book all classes. You simply select a time from your location’s schedule and reserve your spot. The app also shows upcoming workouts, movement videos, your past performance data, integrated health metrics, and travel workout options for training away from the gym.
Yes. Members in the POWER group program can visit any Iron Tribe location. You simply change the location inside the Iron Tribe app, view the schedule, and book a class. All locations run the same daily group workout, so you can expect a consistent training structure and coaching approach wherever you go. Members in other programs should check with their home location for specific access guidelines.
Yes. You can visit a location and try a class to see how Iron Tribe works. While single-class visits are available, many people prefer a short trial period—such as 30 days—to experience the full coaching structure, programming approach, and consistency of the workouts. A brief trial gives you a clearer sense of whether the environment and training model fit your goals. Stop by your local Iron Tribe to get more information on trial lengths, pricing, and other details.
Iron Tribe uses a habit-based, individualized approach to nutrition coaching. There is no single plan for everyone; coaches work with you to understand your current eating habits, lifestyle, and goals, then help you choose specific behaviors to focus on. The goal is long-term improvement rather than short-term dieting, so strategies are designed to be realistic and sustainable.
Coaches use tools like InBody body composition readings and lifestyle assessments to guide recommendations and track progress. Common habits include food journaling, increasing protein intake, and improving hydration. Many Iron Tribe coaches hold Precision Nutrition Level 1 certifications, allowing them to teach foundational nutrition principles and provide ongoing accountability as you build healthier routines.
Yes. Iron Tribe runs several member-focused challenges throughout the year, including events like the Fall Transformation Challenge, Bring a Friend Month, Holiday Hustle, and the Committed Challenge. The gym also occasionally offers incentives for new members. Promotion details and announcements are typically shared on each location’s social media channels.
