Seona works out at Iron Tribe Fitness Northeast and has seen tremendous results! So far, she’s lost 11 pounds and dropped her bod fat percentage by 5%. Here are a few words from Seona herself describing her ITF experience:
How did you hear about Iron Tribe?
I saw a Facebook ad for a free week and thought why not give it a try. It looked fun!
Why did you decide to join?
Even after my first class, I was hooked. I loved the whole concept — short, intensive, ever-changing workouts. I get bored with regular gyms and there are also a lot of pieces of equipment in these gyms that I feel intimidated to use, so I would stick to cardio only. At Iron Tribe, I am challenged to work out in different ways that benefit all areas of my body, doing exercises that I would have typically avoided. I also love the people who are in the classes and the coaches. Everyone pulls together to work as a team and give you amazing encouragement to be the best you can be.
What’s been your biggest success at the Tribe so far? What progress have you seen since you’ve joined?
I have seen my core fitness improve significantly. Before I joined Tribe, I would get up from the sofa in the evening and struggle to walk as I stiffened up from my day. I jump up from the sofa now! I have also seen my body shape change, I am much more lean and muscular.
How have the coaches and other members helped you along your journey?
I think I kind of answered that above! I think a lot of gyms can be intimidating and there are a lot of ‘perfect’ people. A friend who had been looking at the fb videos I was tagged in commented that the people at Tribe are ‘normal’. You feel that the coaches are genuinely rooting for you and want you to to be your best. The coaches are also fun and not at all intimidating. I feel so at home at Tribe in a way that I don’t always feel living here because I am always conscious of being different coming from the UK. I feel that I can be me.
Why would you recommend Iron Tribe to others?
Iron Tribe is a unique concept that gives you an amazing workout in a fun environment, yet challenges you every step of the way. Anyone can join in as there is a variation of the exercise to suit you. I also like that you can progress through these variations as you improve. I never thought I could do push-ups or pull-ups but I am getting there through a modification.
Anything else you’d like to add?
There are people of all shapes and sizes at Iron Tribe who are all motivated to improve their health and fitness. I think that the concept of Iron Tribe fosters this environment and it does not stop once class is done and people leave the gym. I have Type 1 diabetes, and living with a condition like this can be very challenging and get you down. I have been motivated to make significant improvements to my blood sugar and it becomes a snowball effect. I am feeling healthier in all areas of my life.

Since then, I have received a Crossfit Level 1 and Level 2 certification, a USAW Level 1 Certification, and Personal Training and Corrective Exercise Certifications from NASM. My true passion in fitness is helping others to find a path towards living their life the way they want to, without the burden of pain, or physical limitation. Outside of coaching, I am a musician. I am a professional vocalist, a keyboard hobbyist, and songwriter. I also love to cook, and, on weekends, play some incredibly mediocre golf.

Now I am a NASM-certified personal trainer with over 14 years of experience, and have worked with individuals of all ages and skill levels—helping them move better, get stronger, and perform at their best.

I am from Chicago, Illinois, but most of my teenage years we spent in Atlanta. Atlanta is home to me because my parents are still there. I have five sons whom I absolutely cherish! I love being a father! I have a passion for people and fitness and it birthed out of training high school athletes back in 2011. Since I’ve started this career path, I’ve acquired 5 certifications in fitness and nutrition. My favorite lift is the bench press. as there’s just something about getting underneath a barbell slanging weight that just feels right. One of my favorite thing to do is go to the movies with my boys. Our favorite movies are 90’s action movies!
My name is Bo Cherry. I started my fitness journey a few years after graduating from college and starting a sedentary job. I wasn’t happy with how I felt or looked, so I started going to the gym with my wife. After a few months I rediscovered my love for lifting weights from my days of playing high school football, and thought it would be fulfilling to assist others in taking back control of their health. I decided to pursue a career in fitness and went back to college to get my Masters Degree in Exercise Science. After completing my degree I attained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). My favorite thing about fitness is helping people to change their lives through exercise. I love that people can improve their physical and mental health through hard work and dedication. When I’m not at the gym, I am spending time with my wife and our twin daughters.
I was born and raised in Orange County, California. Growing up I played sports and was interested in multiple possible career paths. But, the only thing that was constant was my love for training and going to the gym. So I decided to make it my career! I completed my certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and my B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Baptist University. When I’m not coaching, my favorite thing to do is be with my wife and three kids. And if you are interested in bringing me some food, I won’t turn down a breakfast burrito.
My name is Hunter Campbell and although I currently live in Cookeville, TN, I was born and raised in Sharpsburg, GA. I played baseball my entire childhood and into college, and my involvement in sport introduced me to fitness. I fell in love with fitness from the get-go. I have always enjoyed moving my body and hitting a hard workout, but even more than that I love helping others pursue their own fitness goals. If I’m not at the gym, I’m probably spending time with my wife and our two very spoiled French Bulldogs. I can’t wait to see you in one of my classes!

Born and raised in regional Australia, Inverell, New South Wales to be precise, I was surrounded by sport as a youth. This, along with a healthy dose of Schwarzenegger movies developed in me a passion for fitness and personal development. As we’ve moved to America, Iron Tribe has proven a perfect fit. I have my FMA strength Coach level 1 certificate as well Scientific Back Conditioning, Scientific Core Conditioning, and Precision Nutrition Level 1.
Outside of coaching, I love movies, playing the drums and hanging out with my wife and boys as well as drinking coffee, and searching for Nashville’s best burger joints.
Hey team! My name is Justin Dillard. I’m from Lebanon, TN. I am passionate about health and fitness and have been since I was a kid. I have also always been passionate about helping others as well so fitness seemed like a good fit for me. I was a collegiate soccer player which also pushed me towards working in fitness. I have a degree in marketing and certifications in Nutrition Coaching Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two dogs, and our newborn – James. Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona. I grew up playing multiple sports (football, baseball, basketball). I got into fitness because I knew I had to perform on the field and lifting weights definitely helped. I wanted to be a part of a team environment, so after college, I joined a ministry called Athletes in Action. There I learned more about Iron Tribe through a friend-of-a-friend and how I can use my Exercise Science degree to help people through a fun environment. I love to learn more about movement and how everyone needs different approaches to fitness. I am FMS level 1 and 2 Certified. Precision Nutrition Level 1 and 2 Certified. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I have my Bachelors and Masters in Exercise Science. My favorite exercise is the Power Clean and my least favorite is the Wall Ball.

Newton Kellogg

Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Newton has been passionate about fitness since his teenage years, sparked by a Walmart pull-up bar that ignited his love for strength training. Yes, that is really all it took! Outside of the gym, he enjoys playing music in Nashville and spending time with his wife and baby boy. Newton loves burgers above all other foods and is searching for the world’s best one (someone has to do it). Newton went to CBU for his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, received a certification with NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer, and is dedicated to helping others transform their lives through fitness.
I am originally from Rome, Ga but have lived throughout all parts of Georgia and spent some time in Colorado. I got into fitness to help people move more often, eat better, and find a fun community. While not in the gym I enjoy time with my wife and two dogs. I love all Mediterranean food but especially gyros! I have a Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible ABD, ISSA Personal Trainer, TRX Certified, and Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification. My name is Katarina Kaminski and I am from a little bit of everywhere but I call Sarasota, FL home! I have been a competitive cheerleader since I could walk so I’ve always had fitness as a part of my life. Outside of work I love to hangout with my friends and family by the pool or beach and coaching cheerleading! My favorite food is my moms steak or sushi! I graduated from Belmont University with my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Strength and Conditioning.
I’m originally from Toledo, Ohio where I obtained my BA in Communications at the University of Toledo. I had always played sports growing up but fell in love with fitness when I saw how it changed my life in 2010 and I am still in this industry today because of all the lives I get to help change. I realized I wanted to make a career out of fitness so I continued to graduate school at Michigan State University where I majored in Health Communication: Fitness and Wellness. I’ve been certified in personal training through the American Council on Exercise as well as nutrition counseling. As the manager of Iron Tribe Belmont, I get to mentor my team and start the life changing journey of Iron Tribe with new members. My name is Jason Rodgers, and I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. I attended Belmont University to study Commercial Vocal Performance, before transferring to University of Memphis to major in Music Business. Before starting at the University of Memphis, I had a semester off where my fitness journey began. My best friend strong armed me into joining a local gym for a 4 week challenge. Much to my surprise, at the time, I fell in love with it. I worked there for a year, and during that time saw a full physical, and mental, transformation. When the owner approached me about training to become a coach, I couldn’t say no! Since then, I have received a Crossfit Level 1 and Level 2 certification, a USAW Level 1 Certification, and Personal Training and Corrective Exercise Certifications from NASM. My true passion in fitness is helping others to find a path towards living their life the way they want to, without the burden of pain, or physical limitation. Outside of coaching, I am a musician. I am a professional vocalist, a keyboard hobbyist, and songwriter. I also love to cook, and, on weekends, play some incredibly mediocre golf.
Originally from Philadelphia but spent my college days in South Jersey where I obtained my degree in Health and Exercise Science. I spent most of my life playing football and basketball and after being undersized my entire childhood it led me to pursuing a career in fitness. My background started in collegiate strength in conditioning where I spent 4 seasons with various D1 universities. Certification wise I hold 2 different Strength and Conditioning Certs, FMS Level 1, and Precision Nutrition Level 1.
Outside of work I’m passionate about music playing drums, guitar, and a little bit of piano. I also love enjoy golfing, being around good friends, or taking my two golden retrievers on an outdoor adventure.
